My job is simple. It is to free you from the responsibility of writing and thinking about business copy. I am good at winning attention and getting to the point.

My copy is persuasive, click-worthy and cuts through the fluff.

Editing, or ‘word whittling’ as I like to call it, is what I enjoy doing most. I don’t waste a single syllable when delivering your brand to the consumer. 

I first studied to be an Art Historian. The training gave me a lot of useful experience for the Copywriting vocation. Those labels you see in exhibitions require great skill and efficient communication. I also learned how to make the written word and visual content work together.

When you engage me as a Copywriter, you get my full devotion to your company mission.

Once we agree on the project details, I then prepare a Letter of Engagement for your approval. This document lists full details of the planned assignment including the deadline.

When I get to work on the first draft, I prefer writing by hand. This is a convenient excuse to use my favourite fountain pen. But it is also a fantastic method for encouraging creativity and original thinking. 

I am a fast writer. I don’t miss the deadlines that I agree with my clients. But that does not mean I take shortcuts. Everything I write, I edit with a fine tooth comb. Grammar checking programs are useful. But they do not compare to thorough proofreading from an experienced eye. My grammar, spelling and language skills have been hard-won by a lifetime of reading, writing and amateur dramatics.
